About NASEMSO

The national leadership organization for state, territorial, and tribal EMS officials.

The National Association of State EMS Officials (NASEMSO) supports the officials and staff responsible for developing, overseeing, and improving emergency medical services systems. NASEMSO brings these leaders together to exchange expertise, address shared challenges, strengthen systems of care, and contribute a collective voice to national EMS issues. Members serve as system leaders and enablers, as well as regulators, across clinical oversight, data, education, licensure, preparedness, trauma, pediatric emergency care, and other areas of EMS system development.
